The Old Cook House Farm Cottage

A luxury self catering cottage on the edge of the Lake District

The Old Cook House is a 2 bedroom luxury self catering cottage, sleeping up to 4, situated on a small working farm near Penrith on the edge of the Lake District. Set within a cobbled yard, the farm cottage looks out back onto an apple orchard. The Old Cook House was part of the original farmhouse, dating back to 1746.

Located just 4 miles from Penrith, and 7.5 miles from Ullswater Lake & The Lake District National Park, our farm cottage has been renovated to an extremely high standard.

With easy access to the Lake District and the Eden Valley, The Old Cook House is the perfect base for your outdoor adventures. Car parking is in the front of The Old Cook House. Once entered, the entire cottage is for yourselves to enjoy & the back seating area.

Please note we are a working farm with young animals, and so do not accept dogs.
