Caravan Site Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. When you reserve your pitch with us you are entering into a contract that binds you.
- All bookings:- are accepted on the strict understanding that the person paying the deposit (the Hirer) does so on behalf of all persons included in the booking. It is only the people included in the booking confirmation who can use the facilities and pitches. So please check this as soon as you receive it, and make sure you tell us if any of the details of your booking change after you have booked. The total number of people per pitch must not be more than 5. Please check your confirmation carefully, as if you do go over the maximum number, we will unfortunately have to turn away any extra people at check- in unless previously approved.
- Park Rules:- You agree to abide by the rules of the Park.
- Maximum Vehicle Length:- The maximum vehicle length allowed is 8.5 meters.
- Payment arrangements:- Online via BACS payments, your booking is conditional on Full payment overnight and 2 night stays, A 2 night deposit fee as a NON REFUNDABLE deposit within 2 days of booking & / or balance payable 21 days prior to arrival in all circumstances.
- Cancellation charges:- If a Cancellation Notice is received by Woodhead Farm by phone, email or letter, a cancellation charge is payable depending on the number of days before the Start Date. The amount payable is set out below:
- Cancellation up to 21 days before the day of arrival: LOSS OF DEPOSIT Or Date Change without exception.
- Cancellation up to and Incl. 5 days before the day of arrival: 70% of total cost is due from you.
- Cancellation 5 days or less before the day of arrival: 100% of total cost is due.
- Smoking:- There is a no smoking policy of vaporisers, e-cigarettes and tobacco in any of our service buildings. We do our best to make sure all guests do not smoke in these areas.
- Cutting your holiday short:- Should you decide to go home early, we will not normally offer you a refund.
- Illness:- Please let us know if you or members of your party come down with an illness that may affect any other guests. If necessary, we may seek medical advice and ask you to stay in your caravan / motorhome or even go home.
- Check-In and out time:- Arrival time 1.00pm until 8.00pm. We expect your pitch to be vacated by 11.00am. Please remember to ensure you pick up all your personal items and deposit any rubbish in the bins provided in the service area.
- Personal belongings:- We take all reasonable steps to safe-guard the premises at Woodhead Farm and hope we will have no cause for concern during your holiday, but guests remain responsible for looking after their own belongings. Please remember to secure any vehicles or bicycles and try not to leave any valuable items on display. If you are bringing anything valuable on holiday you should check that it is adequately covered by your insurance. We cannot accept any liability for loss or damage to your belongings unless it is due to our negligence.
- Damages:- We hope you do not have any mishaps while you’re with us. If your pitch and fittings is damaged by you or someone in your party during your stay, we have the right to recover the cost of the damage from you, including any extra costs. If there is an emergency, we can come into your caravan / motorhome without warning to secure the safety of other park users.
- Behaviour:- You should respect the privacy of other touring Site users and be quiet between the hours of 11pm and 7am. Any social gatherings or barbeques must finish at 11pm. Noisy groups or bad language will not be tolerated.
- Liability:- Woodhead Farm shall not be liable for the death or injury of any person named in the Booking Form or for any loss or damage caused otherwise than because of our negligence.
- Dogs:- No Dogs allowed.
- No open fires shall be made on the site. Portable barbeques are permitted.
- The park will endeavour to meet your special requests, but regret that they cannot be guaranteed. Please call the park to discuss any requests.
- Woodhead Farm reserves the right to change the pitch number allocated but not the type of pitch when deemed necessary to meet the needs of the business.
- If in the parks opinion any person is not suitable to continue the holiday because of unreasonable behaviour, damage to the property or annoyance to other holiday makers, the park reserves the right to exclude the party from the park. In this event, the hirer shall remain liable and no refund will be due. The hirer will remain liable for any damage caused to property.
- We do everything we can to provide the holidays we advertise on our website, but very occasionally we find we can no longer offer the holiday people have booked. If this happens to you, we will inform you immediately and offer an equal or upgraded alternative.
- Recycling Facilities are provided for general waste only, Please recycle where possible.
- We do not knowingly allow anyone to stay or visit the park who is a convicted child sex offender, or is subject to the notification requirements of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, or who is subject to a Risk of Sexual Harm Order or Child Abduction Notice
