Our luxury shepherd’s hut near Penrith offers the perfect Lake District glamping experience. Rosie’s Retreat is a traditional looking shepherds hut from the outside, overlooking open fields towards the Lake District fells. As you step inside this luxury retreat you will be amazed by the spacious & modern feel that this accommodation offers you. Within the hut there is a king size bed, sofa, kitchen & en-suite shower room. Fully kitted out with modern amenities, our glamping hut offers everything you need for a luxury getaway. Sleeps 2.
Please note we are a working farm with young animals, and so do not accept dogs.
The Space
As you enter the small kitchen area is to the left & cupboard to the right. Through the internal door is an en-suite with shower, toilet & sink. In the main living area there is a sofa, a built-in storage unit housing a table & chairs, and king size bed, bedside tables & wardrobe.
Location
Situated only a few miles from Penrith, our glamping hut is perfectly located for access to Ullswater, the wider Lake District and Eden Valley.
Amenities
Our glamping hut comes with all the amenities you would expect, including a king size bed, en-suite shower room, kitchenette, wifi and access to an EV charger.
Gallery
Rosie’s Retreat was an old show exhibition trailer that had a history of going round farming and social events in the local area. Rather than it rusting away we are so pleased to have given it a new life as a large luxury shepherds hut.

Weekend minimum stay 2 nights. Season runs from March 21st to October 31st.
