Our Lake District CL Caravan Site
Woodhead Farm caravan site offers exceptional motorhome and touring caravan pitches, including an exclusive 5 pitch CL site. Just off the M6 near Penrith, with easy access to the Lake District, Ullswater, the Eden Valley and the Pennines, our caravan site is the perfect base for your Lake District adventures.
Our CL site is situated in it’s own private area between 2 fields. Most of the season they have sheep, lambs or young cows in them for your enjoyment. Hopefully this gives you an experience to remember. All pitches are hard standing pitches with electric and water hook up. We have a new shower/toilet and wash up area, grey waste point, Chemical waste point and recycling area.
Please note we are a working farm with young animals, and so do not accept dogs.
Our exclusive 5 Pitch CL Caravan Site
Our 5 pitch CL caravan site is set on a small working farm near Penrith in the idyllic Eden Valley, between the Lake District National Park and the Pennines. Adults and children are all welcome. There are hard standing and grass pitches with electrical hook-ups and space for an awning. There is also a communal shower/toilet block.

We have just returned from a third week’s stay at Woodhead Farm, which is two minutes from the M6 motorway (J41). It’s ideal to explore the surrounding areas or as a stopover to another destination. Pitches all have water and electricity provided and are hardstanding. Julie and David are always extremely welcoming, friendly and up for a chat. There are a couple of pubs nearby – The Boot and Shoe and The Sun Inn which serve delicious food.
